ড্যাশবোর্ড ওয়ার্নিং লাইট — অর্থ ও করণীয়
Dashboard warning lights are your car’s way of telling you something needs attention. Some are urgent, some are advisory — knowing the difference can save you from expensive repairs. Here’s what each common warning light means and what to do.
ড্যাশবোর্ড ওয়ার্নিং লাইট গাড়ির ভাষায় বলে দেয় কোন কিছুতে মনোযোগ দরকার। কিছু জরুরি, কিছু পরামর্শমূলক — পার্থক্য জানলে ব্যয়বহুল মেরামত এড়ানো যায়। নিচে প্রতিটি সাধারণ ওয়ার্নিং লাইটের অর্থ ও করণীয় দেওয়া হলো।
Warning Light Colours — What They Mean
ওয়ার্নিং লাইটের রং — অর্থ
- Red (লাল) — Stop immediately. Serious problem or safety risk.
- Amber/Yellow (হলুদ) — Get it checked soon. Not urgent, but don’t ignore it.
- Green/Blue (সবুজ/নীল) — Information only. A system is active (e.g., headlights, cruise control).

| Traction/ESP | Stability control — স্ট্যাবিলিটি কন্ট্রোল | Get the code read |
| Tyre Pressure (TPMS) | Low tyre pressure — টায়ার প্রেসার কম | Check & inflate tyres |
| Power Steering | Steering fault — স্টিয়ারিং সমস্যা | Check power steering fluid/system |
| Glow Plug (Diesel) | Glow plug issue — গ্লো প্লাগ সমস্যা | Check glow plugs |
| DPF (Diesel) | DPF blocked — ডিপিএফ ব্লক | Drive to regenerate or get it cleaned |
What to Do When a Warning Light Comes On
- Red light = stop. Pull over safely and turn off the engine. Continuing to drive can cause serious damage.
- Amber light = schedule a check. You can usually keep driving, but book a diagnostic scan soon.
- Flashing light = urgent. A flashing check-engine light usually means a misfire that can damage the catalytic converter — reduce load and get it checked immediately.
করণীয় (What to Do)
- লাল লাইট = থামুন। নিরাপদে গাড়ি থামিয়ে ইঞ্জিন বন্ধ করুন। চালিয়ে গেলে মারাত্মক ক্ষতি হতে পারে।
- হলুদ লাইট = চেক করান। সাধারণত চালানো যায়, তবে দ্রুত ডায়াগনস্টিক স্ক্যান করান।
- ঝলকানো লাইট = জরুরি। ঝলকানো চেক-ইঞ্জিন লাইট সাধারণত মিসফায়ার বোঝায় যা ক্যাটালিটিক কনভার্টার নষ্ট করতে পারে — লোড কমিয়ে দ্রুত চেক করান।
